This styleframe was done for an assignment in School of Motion's Illustration for Motion course.
The brief was to plan a 30-second animation for Candy Cart, a fictional company who offer a home delivery service for movie snacks.
I decided to tell the story from the perspective of someone planning their perfect home-movie night. The reason I chose this direction is because it presents watching films at home as being something desirable that you might plan and look forward to, rather than the second best option when really you wanted to go to the cinema. That way, using Candy Cart to get all your favourite snacks feels like the cherry on top, rather than the consolation prize.
